It is a good idea to buy seeds and plants from suppliers that produce for organic gardening.
Choosing varieties that are resistant to certain diseases and more robust varieties makes sense in an organic garden. Heritage plants and plants local to your area also tend to be worth growing. Choose crops suitable for your soil and location, working with nature and your circumstances is much less energy intensive and more likely to bring success, although you may feel that certain favourites may be worth the extra coddling if you can give it.
